In May 2010, Digital Horizon, worked as a system integrator for Potevio, made a successful transition of of Laos DTTV from DVB-T to DTMB, the Chinese digital terrestrial TV standard. In this project, Digital Horizon provided 4 DTMB exciters to replace the DVB-T exciters in the 4 transmitters of 2500W. The 5th transmitter was added to the system by using the high power channel combiner to increase the number of channel.

After one year operation, the broadcaster decided to extend the service to 2 other cities from the capital. Moreover, new generation AVS encoding technology, equivalent of H264/AVC is introduced to optimize the bandwidth and broadcast more channels.
